Known to fans of the X-files, and UFO-ologists world wide, and listed as one
of the worlds “scariest places” Roswell, New Mexico holds the dubious honor
of may or maybe not being the site of proof of the existence of
Extraterrestrials. In July 1947 debris from a field near Roswell was
recovered by the RAAF – the Roswell Army Airfield.
The base issued a press
release that stated they had recovered wreckage of a “Flying Saucer”. Later
that statement was retracted and the government released a statement saying
it was a weather balloon, sparking a controversy that continues to this day.
There are dozens of accounts of the alleged incident, some of which include
that bodies and even living extraterrestrial beings were recovered at the
site.
Recent reports released by the Defense Intelligence Agency, that
describe something called Project Serpo state that it was indeed an alien
crash, and that one of the Aliens lived for 5 years after the incident and
maintained contact with his home star system.
Many believe that human-alien
hybrids were the result, and still populate the city to this day.
Residents
admit that there are a lot of strange things around Roswell, not the least
of which are the tourists.
