Way to go Laredo, you are on our list because you have actually received a
place of honor not once, but twice on other important rankings of the lowest
of the low.
Laredo holds the distinction of being named both “The Worst
Place in America to Live” due to poverty, alcoholism, unemployment and a
high crime rate, and more recently Laredo once again scored honors by being
named the Dumbest City in America.
They earned that title in a study
released by Men’s Health magazine, by having the least amount of Bachelor
Degrees per capita.
But what would you expect from a city that has an annual
festival called “Jamboozie”?
