Adopt-A-Minefield Campaign
In response to the global landmine crisis, the Adopt-A-Minefield (AAM) Campaign was created by the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) in partnership with the United Nations, Ted Turner’s Better World Fund, and the U.S. State Department to clear minefields, provide assistance to landmine survivors, and raise awareness of the global landmine crisis. The Campaign aims to empower people everywhere to take action against the global landmine crisis–one of the world’s most pervasive problems.
Since its launch in 1999, AAM has become the largest non-governmental funder of Mine Action.
