Chonchon, or any other city in North Korea other then the opulent capital
and home of its psychopathic dictator Kim Jung-iL; is hands down probably
one of the worst places of all to live.
To call Kim Jung-iL’s government
oppressive is a gross understatement. According to Amnesty International,
North Korea has the worse record on human rights than any other nation on
the planet.
The North Korean government may be unique in all the world in
its readiness to starve its own people, more than 2 million North Koreans
have died of starvation since 1990 - while at the same time deny them basic
civil rights as well as access to healthcare. So why don’t they just leave?
Travel within the country is practically against the law for all but the
richest and highest-ranking government officials - attempting to leave it is
likely to result in beatings, imprisonment and, in documented cases,
execution.
And now their insane leader has Nukes as well as really bad hair.
