Ancient Ruins – if you are in to that sort of thing.
Yes Athens is a major historical site, but then again so is Hiroshima, and I
wouldn’t want to live there either.
So Athens has some of the best Ancient
Ruins in the world. But people who have been there say it is pretty much a
“Modern Ruin” too.
The air is practically unbreathable. The traffic is suffocating. The noise
pollution is several decibels above deafening, and the city itself is just,
well – Ugly.
After a recent visit one traveller
offered this line single line description – “Athens is a dump of World Class
Proportions."
